Madan Bhandari Memorial Academy Nepal, Polytechnic Institute was established in 2052 B.S. to produce the mid-level skilled human resources in medical, agricultural and engineering fields. It fulfills the demand of nation and other social bodies to serve the community and nation. It is located in Damak-4 Tarabari, Jhapa which runs Diploma level three year programs such as PCL General Medicine, Animal Science, Plant Science and Diploma in Civil Engineering and Technical SLC level 18 months programs such as Civil Sub Overseer. 8 bighas and 16 kathas of land, fully equipped basic science labs and other medical labs, engineering labs/workshops, well-furnished specious class, peaceful environment, well qualified and experienced instructional staﬀ and other essential facilities. Forty students are enrolled into each program except the Diploma in Civil Engineering in which 48 students are enrolled.

Diploma in Civil Engineering

This program prepares technicians who are capable of undertaking works in civil engineering field as Civil Engineering Technicians under Road, Irrigation, Water Supply, Urban Development and Building Construction and other civil infrastructures development of related departments and sectors and produces middle level competent technical workforce/human resources that could provide supervisory works of civil engineering. It also prepares technical workforce who will demonstrate positive attitude and respect for the profession and socio- cultural values and helps in meeting the demand of required Civil Engineering Technicians for the public and private infrastructure development sector of Nepal. Finally, it reduces the dependence on employment in foreign countries and creates self-employment opportunities.

Agriculture Programs

It fulfills the demand of nation and other social bodies to serve the community and nation. It is located in Damak-4 Tarabari, Jhapa which runs Diploma level three year programs such as I.Sc. in Agriculture (Animal Science and Plant Science) and Technical SLC level 18 months programs such as Livestock Production / Animal Husbandry (LP/AH). It is fully equipped with basic science labs and other agricultural labs, farms, fields for crop production and analysis, well-furnished specious class, peaceful environment, well qualified and experienced instructional staﬀ and other essential facilities. Forty students are enrolled into each program in one intake. It enables students to learn about the Flora and Fauna as well as their interlinked activities with the human life
